Terms & Conditions
Travel Agency vs. Travel Agent Understanding
I acknowledge that Castle Bound Travel Company is not the source or supplier of the travel planning services I have requested and acts solely as an agency for the individual representative who handles their travel services. I have been advised that the agent, who I am assigned to and/or whom I have chosen, is solely responsible for providing the services that I have purchased. I consent to the use of those suppliers and agree not to hold Castle Bound Travel Company responsible should any of these suppliers fail to provide the travel services I have purchased, cease to operate, fail to comply with any applicable law, and/or engage in any negligent act or omission that cases me any sort of injury, damage, delay, or inconvenience.
Payments
I understand that final payment is due prior to departure according to each supplier’s terms and conditions involved in my travel booking (hotel, cruise line, transportation company, sightseeing operators, and other travel service vendors). If full/final payment is not received by the applicable due date, reservations are subject to cancellation and deposits can be forfeited.
I understand that my travel agent will be processing payments for my trip on my behalf and that I will be unable to do so as an individual for specific vendors. I agree to use the Castle Bound Travel Company Credit Card Authorization form to grant permission for any charges being authorized toward my preferred method of payment being a credit card, bank account, gift card, etc.
Travel Documentation
I will review each person in my party’s travel documents for accuracy upon receipt. I understand that the name, date of birth, and gender that appears on their identification (18+) must exactly match the same data that is listed. I acknowledge that failure to comply with these requirements may result in denied entry, and/or boarding, reservations, or security checkpoint delay. I must contact my travel advisor immediately regarding any discrepancies. I will review the face covering/mask requirements at my destination to ensure that I comply.
A. Closed-Loop Travel
Cruises beginning and ending in the same location are considered “closed-loop,” meaning they begin and end at the same port in the United States. U.S. citizens on closed-loop cruises will be able to enter or depart the country with proof of citizenship, such as an Enhanced Driver's License (EDL), a government-issued birth certificate (issued by the Vital Records Department in the state where he or she was born) or passport, and if 16 or older, a government issued driver's license, or picture ID - denoting photo, name, and date of birth.
In the event that you are unable to make it back onto the ship while in port internationally, keep in mind that a birth certificate will not be sufficient documentation to fly back to the United States.
B. Flying to International Destinations
All travelers will be required to have a valid passport when flying internationally. If you already have one, it should be valid for at least six months after you return home and have two or more blank pages, depending on your destination. Otherwise, some countries may deny entry.
If you do not have a passport, it is recommended that you apply several months in advance for a new one. Client is responsible for providing and maintaining accurate and up to date travel documents for all travelers. If you don’t have the required documentation and identification, you will not be allowed to board the plane and would be responsible for any resulting costs.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a travel alert for travelers to specific countries in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Bahamas along with specific areas in Florida due to the Zika virus, a mosquito related illness. While the most common symptoms are usually mild and include fever, rash, joint pain and red eyes, pregnant women should pay special attention to the travel alert and take necessary precaution to avoid mosquito bites. Additional information can be found under the Travelers Health section of the CDC website at http://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/notices and http://www.cdc.gov/zika.
