Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa, is located on the beautiful island of Oahu. This magical destination is where the magic of Disney meets a relaxing island paradise. Disney Character Dining
Makahiki - The Bounty of the Islands is a character breakfast. Breakfast includes starters and your choice of an entree. Entrees vary from typical breakfast staples like pancakes, waffles, eggs, and some Hawaiian-inspired options like a Hawaiian Style Loco Moco that includes a hamburger steak, fried rice, and eggs. Guests are joined by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Goofy in their Hawaiian vacation apparel. Dining reservations can be made 30 days in advance. A Disney Photopass Photographer will be there to capture this magical breakfast. Digital PhotoPass Packages are available to purchase for the length of your stay or just for one Disney Dining experience.
Duffy and Friends
Aulani is home to characters that only meet and greet at this resort! Everyone's favorite Bears call Aulani home! Duffy is Mickey Mouse's very own teddy bear! He very rarely meets with guests outside of Aulani. Duffy was introduced as the Disney Bear in 2002 at the opening of “Once Upon a Toy.” Over the years, imagineers have expanded Duffy’s storyline earning him his own personal following! Ever since he has been “making friends” around the world! At Aulani, he is joined by his friends ‘Olu Mel who can be seen playing the ukulele and his best friend Shellie Mae in her Hawaiian outfit.
Character Meet and Greets
Character meet and greets take place throughout the day and evening at Aulani Hawaii Resort and Spa. Fan favorite characters can be met at pool parties, fire pit storytelling, and all throughout the resort. To find out where characters are meeting each day, call the Character Hotline from your resort room just dial CHIP or 2447. If you aren’t in your room, you can call the Aulani front desk 808-674-6200 and ask to be transferred to the character hotline. The character schedule is also published on the Daily ‘Iwa which is the Aulani Daily Activities Schedule and in the Disney Aulani App. If there is a character that you would really like to meet, we highly recommend that you arrive earlier than the scheduled time. Lines can get long and the Cast Members may stop the line.
Hawaiian Favorites
Some Disney characters call Hawaii their home! Stitch and Angel also known as Experiment 624 are two popular characters that meet and greet at Aulani. Fan favorites such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Chip 'n' Dale, and Moana can all be found around the resort in their Hawaiian Vacation attire. If you are planning on attending Ka’ Wa’a Luau, that is a great opportunity to see some characters!
Premium Character Experiences
Premium character experiences are available for an additional fee during your vacation. Kakamora Chaos with Moana is a fun-filled activity that teaches guests traditional Hawaiian games. SURF’S UP!- A Surfin’ Fishin’ and Dancin’ Party is a chance to learn about local fish from Goofy, play games with Chip ‘n’ Dale, and dance your heart out at a beach bash with some other Disney pals.
