Florida in the summer can be HOT so an After Hours Event is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the parks, experience short wait times, some tasty treats and avoid the heat. After Hours Events are special events that require a separate ticket. As a perk to Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members, they do offer a small discount.
Hollywood Studios After Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
On select nights through June 28, guests can experience this limited capacity event while enjoying complimentary snacks. Guests with an event ticket can enter the park beginning at 7PM while the actual event doesn’t begin until 10PM. We highly recommend watching Fantasmic! before the event begins! Due to the limited amount of tickets sold, wait times for rides are significantly reduced! Guests can shrink down to Toy Size and explore their favorite rides in Toy Story Land, venture to a galaxy far far away in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and even meet some characters! The party wraps up around 1AM, but 6 hours is more than enough time to experience all that Hollywood Studios has to offer with reduced wait times!
Disney After Hours at EPCOT
Beginning June 1, 2023 through August 24, 2023, on select nights guests can enjoy their favorite attractions with significantly lower wait times. The event doesn’t begin until 10PM, but attendees can enter the park beginning at 7PM! This is a great opportunity to enjoy some of your favorite snacks within the countries or experience some rides that aren’t open during the event. If you’re a Guardians of the Galaxy fan this is your opportunity to ride Cosmic Rewind with little to no wait! Yes, we’re as excited as you are!! There is also an endless amount of ice novelties, popcorn and bottled beverages for party goers! We’re not saying you should eat every Mickey Bar that you see, but it’s not a bad idea - they are FREE with your ticket so take advantage of all of the snacks! From our experience at these events the wait times for big ticket rides like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Frozen Ever After are minimal! We’ve been able to walk onto Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, which really beats the 100+ minute wait during the day! While After Hours at EPCOT may end at 1AM we promise this is plenty of time to experience all of the fun that EPCOT has to offer!
Disney H2O Glow After Hours at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon
On select nights May 20, 2023 through September 2, 2023, guests can make a splash into 3 hours of extra fun at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon from 8PM to 11PM. This isn’t just your typical evening at a waterpark, the water park becomes illuminated at night! Enjoy special snacks and beverages that are included in your event ticket. This event truly is a party with a DJ and a dance party! It doesn’t stop there, the real reason most people go to a water park is to enjoy the water rides, and yes they do have limited wait times due to only a limited number of tickets being sold! H2O Glow is generally on Saturday nights throughout the summer, but there are a couple of Monday nights available!
