It’s never too early to get a jumpstart on the spookiest season of the year. We are officially halfway to Halloween. The Halloween season will kick off in Walt Disney World on August 9 this year and will continue through October 31, giving guests three months to check out the cutest Mickey-shaped pumpkins on Main Street USA.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will take place on select nights throughout August, September, and October. The party begins at 7 PM and runs until midnight. Guests with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets are welcome to enter the park starting at 4 PM to enjoy the attractions before the party begins. We highly recommend taking advantage of this time to enjoy the rides. Once the clock strikes 7, the party comes to life, and guests can start interacting with exclusive characters, purchasing special merchandise, and much more!
Characters
One of the highlights of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the opportunity to meet characters exclusive to the event! It's a great chance to encounter characters not commonly seen in the parks. Guests may even experience multiple characters meeting and greeting together, which is always exciting. In past years, we've met Jack and Sally, Winnie the Pooh and friends in their Halloween costumes, and the Seven Dwarfs. This year, there will be more villains than ever before available for "selfies." Generally, this means that interactions with villains will be at a distance. For the first time, we can mention Bruno Madrigal. He will be meeting and greeting with Mirabel during the party in their Casita. Mickey and Minnie will also make their debut in brand-new neon spider-web-inspired costumes exclusively for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Entertainment
This year, there will be some changes to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The first "Boo To You Parade" will begin at 8:15 PM, giving the littlest ghouls a better chance of staying awake for the parade. "Boo To You" is a parade that starts in Frontierland, winds its way through the park, and finishes up on Main Street USA. This parade includes more characters than you can count!
Get your dancing shoes on and get ready to bust a move at the "DescenDANCE Party," located at the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. The music will be inspired by the brand-new movie, "Descendants: The Rise of Red," releasing this July! Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular is the fireworks show at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, hosted by Jack Skellington. The perfect way to guarantee yourself a great spot in the Plaza Garden or Tomorrowland Terrace for Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular is to attend the Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party. Guests can enjoy dessert, beer, wine, juice, and coffee while enjoying the show. Reservations for the dessert party open up on June 7.
