It seems like every year the Food and Wine Festival gets a little bit longer. We're just a couple of short weeks away from the beginning of the festival on July 27, and this year we're super excited for some extra time to try the newest additions to this summer and fall festival. This year, we have four new booths making their debut at the festival, along with some new performers for Eat to the Beat.
While there will be around 30 different booths to indulge in around the World Showcase, some returning booths are switching it up a little bit and adding some new menu items and themes! Last year, a fan favorite was Brew-Wing, and we cannot wait for their return! This year, they're putting a fun spin on the booth inside of the Odyssey. None other than Dr. Bunsen and Beaker from the Muppets will be welcoming guests to their taste testing headquarters, where guests can sample their carefully concocted creations. Get ready for your taste buds to take a walk on the wild side with their Scotch Bonnet Pepper Curry Wings and their Pickle Milkshake. If you're visiting during the cooler months, the Odyssey is also a great place to hang out inside with air conditioning.
While not all booths will be opening in July when the festival begins, come fall, we will have quite a few new options to add to the Food and Wine lineup! Four new booths will be making their debut, and we cannot wait to sample them! Char and Chop, Wine and Wedge, Bubbles and Brine, and Swirled Showcase will be opening up a little bit later into the Food and Wine Season, but they'll be worth the wait! These four new additions will be making their debut on September 22, just in time for the first official day of fall! Some of the new offerings will be included in Emile's Fromage Montage, so make sure you pick up a festival passport to collect your stamps for your FREE treat. Yes! We said something is free in Walt Disney World; you just need to collect stamps for the different cheese dishes that you sample throughout the Festival to redeem your free dessert.
