Sailing on Disney Cruise Line with Little Travelers

Disney Cruise Line makes traveling with little kids easier than ever! Of course, kids and parents love all of the characters, pools, splash pads, shows, and entertainment, but Disney Cruise Line truly takes the stress out of traveling with young children.

Traveling with Infants

There is no denying that your first few trips traveling with a baby are the most difficult when you’re getting the hang of bringing a little one into a new environment. Disney Cruise Line makes it that much easier by supplying guests not only with pack and plays but also with complimentary diaper genies for your room! Crib sheets are also provided. If you have a little one who is drinking bottles, complimentary bottle warmers and sterilizers are also available upon request. On your cruise, you will have an assigned Stateroom Host or Hostess that takes care of refreshing your room each day. Generally, the host or hostess will break down your pack and play for you each day, but if you’re traveling with a little one who takes a midday nap, let your host or hostess know, and they’ll be more than happy to leave your pack and play set up for you. For families traveling with toddlers, bed rails are available upon request, and your stateroom host will happily set those up for you.

Dining with Littles

When booking a cruise, guests enjoy rotational dining each night of their sailing. One of the biggest perks of rotational dining is that you keep your same dining team throughout your sailing. Your dining team will have a chance to learn your child's likes and dislikes. You can even request for your children's food to come out with your appetizers so they can eat and head back to the Oceaneer Club. There is the Main Seating at 5:45 PM and Second Seating at 8 PM. We highly recommend Main Dining for families traveling with littles. Each main dining room has complimentary high chairs and booster seats that will be set up for your meal each night if you’re traveling with little kids. Anywhere that guests can enjoy a meal onboard also has high chairs and booster seats.

It’s a Small World Nursery

Enjoy some adult-only time while infants and toddlers have fun being entertained by the expert Disney counselors. Children who are 6 months to 3 years old can enjoy the nursery. While completing online check-in for your sailing, guests traveling with infants and toddlers will fill out an authorization form for the nursery and include any allergies children may have. Reservations can be made through the Navigator app prior to your sailing during your booking window, and upon boarding the ship, guests can make reservations for the nursery on a first-come, first-serve basis. We highly recommend doing this as soon as possible because space is limited. Guests can reserve up to 10 hours prior to their sailing but can book more hours once onboard. This is an hourly paid service that costs roughly $9 per hour per child. For guests that would like to enjoy excursions in different ports, you can utilize the nursery while you are on the ship if you are comfortable with it.
