Howdy Partner! To enjoy Walt Disney World’s newest restaurant you will have to shrink on down to toy size and become an honorary toy for your meal. Round Up Rodeo BBQ is located in Toy Story Lane inside of Hollywood Studios. The restaurant opened to guests on March 23, 2023 serving up family style bbq and finger licking good side dishes.
Upon entering the restaurant you are completely immersed into the storyline of the wild wild west play set that was built by none other than Andy himself! There are two different dining rooms and regardless of where you get sat in, we highly recommend popping your head into the opposite room, to take in all of the different decor and theming. All of your favorite characters are throughout the restaurant like Bullseye, Bo Peep, Trixie, Buzz, and even Stinky Pete aka Prospector.
On to the most important part of the meal…your food! Lunch and Dinner are served family style and cost $45 per adult and $25 per child! To start off the meal, a basket of cheddar biscuits with sweet pepper jelly will be brought to the table along with three different salads- Rootin’ Tootin’ Tomato Salad, Rex’s Romaine and Kale Salad and Weezy’s Watermelon Salad. For the main event, a heaping platter of ribs, brisket, sausage and chicken will be served. For our guests who prefer a plant based option they have a whole platter just for you! This platter will include Cauliflower, “Bratwurst”, “Rib Chops” and they even have a Cedar Planked Salmon that is available upon request.
No BBQ is complete without the sauces! There’s something for everyone- there is a classic vinegar based sauce, a sweet bbq sauce and a spicy bbq sauce to choose from. That brings us to the decision making… and boy is this a tough decision to make! Sides are ordered for the table to share and each table gets to choose 4! The options are Potato Salad, Loaded Potato Barrels, Veggie Slaw, Fried Pickles, Campfire Vegetables, Mac and Cheese, Baked Beans and Grilled Street Corn on the Cob! That leaves us with the grand finale…dessert! Each guest will choose ONE pie-in-a-jar for dessert, they can choose from Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Silk Pie, Apple Pie and a Peach-Strawberry Pie and for the smallest toys there's even a Cupcake a la Forky!
For an additional charge grownups and kids can order specialty beverages. The grown up cocktails set the bar high! The frozen peanut butter and jelly is a great treat for a hot day and features peanut butter whiskey and the Chocolate with a Grown Up Twist are perfect for grown ups that like to start their meal with a liquid dessert. The Rodeo Mule and Snake Eye Margarita are also perfect for this backyard picnic! There are also specialty non alcoholic beverages that are available for an additional price like Molly’s Frozen Iced Tea and Partysaurus Tex strawberry lemonade.
