Happy Haunts come out to socialize this Halloween Season at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! There is no shortage of entertainment at the Halloween Party! There are stage shows, parades, dance parties, fireworks, and even some party-exclusive characters!
The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular is a Stage Show in front of Cinderella’s Castle for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and it features all of our favorite villains! The Sanderson Sisters, Oogie Boogie, Maleficent, and many others take the stage three or four times a night, depending on the party! Every party, regardless of the month, will have shows at 8:35 PM, 10:45 PM, and midnight, but in October and November, there is an additional showing at 7:40 PM. Keep in mind that this show is weather-dependent. Crowds do start forming early for this show, so we highly encourage you to get there a little bit early to get a good viewing spot.
Arguably the best part of the entire Halloween Party is Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade that takes place twice per party. The parade begins in Frontierland and ends at the entrance of Magic Kingdom. The first parade is at 9:15 PM, and the second parade is at 11:15 PM. The first parade is always the busiest! The most crowded areas are going to be in front of the castle and on Main Street USA. Frontierland is a great viewing location that tends to have a much smaller crowd. If you choose to sit along Main Street USA, we highly recommend finding a seat on the sidewalk at least 45 minutes before the parade begins.
On the nights that there are Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties, there is no showing of Happily Ever After. Party guests will get to enjoy Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular for their fireworks show. This show features projections on the castle, fireworks, and lasers. This show is at 10:15 PM, and we find that most guests who watch the 9:15 Boo-To-You Parade tend to keep their spots on Main Street USA or in front of the castle. Closer to the beginning of the fireworks show, cast members will usher guests closer to the castle to fill in any available space. To guarantee yourself an amazing viewing location, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party is a great option that is $114 per adult and $69 per child. The dessert party includes a prime viewing location along with all you care to enjoy dessert, drinks in addition to complimentary beer and wine. This event is hosted in Tomorrowland Terrace.
Make sure you wear your dancing shoes! The Disney Junior Jam at Cosmic Rays and Zom-Beatz Bash Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland are spinning up beats with some of our favorite characters! At the Disney Junior Jam, you never know who you’ll see! Powerline Max, Fancy Nancy, and Vampirina are usually fan favorites that teach the crowd their dance moves! Get fired up and break it down with our favorite zombies, werewolves, aliens, and cheerleaders from Seabrook High. Dance Parties are from 7 PM to midnight!
There are lots of delicious seasonal snacks available during the party in Frontierland. While you’re grabbing a snack, keep an eye and ear out for The Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet. They’ll be performing sporadically from 7 PM to 10:50 PM. Not too far away in Adventureland, the Rusty Cutlass Pirate band performs from 7:15 PM to 11:50 PM.
