Don your holiday or Hollywood best and take a trip back in time to attend the holiday party of the season. This festive after-hours event combines holiday cheer and old-school Hollywood glitz and glamour for the perfect opportunity to dance the night away. Disney Jollywood Nights takes place in Hollywood Studios on select nights from November 11 through December 20.
Entertainment
The nighttime spectacular Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! will be returning after its almost 4-year hiatus from Hollywood Studios. This nighttime spectacular includes fireworks, projections, and laser lights set to some merry tunes. Two new shows will make their debut at Jollywood Nights. In Theater of the Stars, there will be “Disney Holidays in Hollywood.” This new show will feature fan favorites like Mickey Mouse, Miss Piggy, and Tiana in this Tinseltown holiday special. The second new addition will be “What’s This? Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas sing-along” in the Hyperion Theater. Guests can sing along with songs from this holiday classic.
All along Echo Lake, guests can enjoy some merry mash-ups with a DJ spinning tunes. To kick the party up another notch, head over to the Holiday Fiesta en la Calle, a Latin street party that will feature a live band along with lots of foods and drinks to choose from. Characters will be out and about along Echo Lake, so watch out for Powerline Max, Rescue Ranger Chip and Dale, and Phineas and Ferb. If meeting characters in their holiday best is on your to-do list, head to the Animation Courtyard to meet Mickey and his pals. In Pixar Place, guests can pose for pictures with Edna Mode and Frozone.
Attractions
While not all of the rides in the park will be open for Jollywood Nights, guests can still enjoy some of the most popular attractions. Since this is a special ticketed event, we expect wait times for rides to be minimal. However, there will be a virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Guests can join the virtual queue at 8 PM in the My Disney Experience app. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Slinky Dog Dash, and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith will be operating with traditional standby lines. Available rides are subject to change.
Strike a Pose
Every guest attending Jollywood Nights will receive complimentary access to countless PhotoPass opportunities with unlimited downloads throughout the night of the event they are attending. PhotoPass photographers will be there to capture your memories and will even have Jollywood Nights exclusive Magic Shots, so don’t be afraid to ask your photographer to add some extra magic! Within the My Disney Experience app, there will be special Disney PhotoPass Lenses for Jollywood Nights that transform the photos and videos you can take on your phone! *Photos will be available in the My Disney Experience app for 45 days after the event you are ticketed for.
Holiday Sips and Bites
Sip and savor the evening while enjoying Jazzy Holidays at the Hollywood Brown Derby. The restaurant will transform into a jazz club with exclusive cocktails and small bites exclusive to Jollywood Nights. Guests can also “drop in” to the Twilight Soirée at The Tip-Top Club at the Hollywood Tower Hotel. There will be a live band and cocktails. Both of these Jollywood exclusive dining experiences will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and there will also be an opportunity to join the “walk-up” list in the My Disney Experience app. Throughout the park, there will be several quick-service locations that will feature Jollywood Nights exclusive menu items. ABC Commissary will take on a Latin flare, transforming into Holiday Fiesta en la Calle. Most dining locations will serve their normal menu with the addition of some Jollywood Nights exclusive meals, snacks, and drinks.
