It’s that time of year! We’re halfway to the holiday season. Which means there are lots of fun and exciting announcements for the holiday season! There are even some ways to celebrate halfway to the holidays right now at Disney Resorts and in the parks!
While there may not be a giant gingerbread house filled with sweet treats just yet, guests can still venture over to the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to enjoy some holiday treats! Head to Gasparilla Island Grill for a Brownie Tree Pop that’s dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with holiday sprinkles or get your gingerbread fix with a Gingersnap Cookie. Yes, those are the same ones from the Gingerbread House! Disney California Adventure also has some holiday sweet treats. Pacific Wharf Cafe has Mickey Gingerbread available for Mobile Order and Cozy Cone Motel 1 has an Egg Nog Slush with Rumchata. Count us in for that refreshing, sweet, holiday deliciousness!
We highly recommend leaving a little bit of extra wiggle room in this year's holiday budget, because this year's holiday merchandise is absolutely incredible! Who doesn’t love adding a little more Mickey to their holiday wardrobe! Everything from new crocs, to sweaters and Loungefly will be available this holiday season both in the parks and on shop Disney! If you’re a fan of a “dad shirt” also known as a short sleeve patterned button up, there’s a Christmas themed one heading our way for this holiday season…these are PERFECT for the warm Florida weather!
Walt Disney World is going to be bringing some merrytime magic to all four of the parks and Disney Springs this year! While yes, Magic Kingdom gets Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party you don’t need a special event ticket to experience the magic! The Candlelight processional will be returning to Epcot International Festival of the Holidays with it’s star studded line up of narrators. Animal Kingdom always has absolutely stunning Christmas decor in addition to the Merry Menagerie of incredible winter animal puppets. Hollywood Studios will have the return of the yuletide projections on the Hollywood Tower Hotel, but it doesn’t stop there! Hollywood Studios will be making its Holiday Debut with “Jollywood Nights”, a special holiday after hours event.
It isn’t the holiday season without the icon’s of the Disney Holiday Season! We officially know what Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be wearing this upcoming Holiday season in Disneyland! They will be “sleigh”ing in their spin on the classic red holiday attire and wearing more of a mid century modern inspired look! While we’re on the topic of Disneyland we are happy to say that we have official confirmation that It’s a Small World will be transformed into "It’s a Small World" Holiday. If you’re a Walt Disney World frequent flier this is the perfect reason to venture to the West Coast and experience the Disneyland Holiday Season.
