It’s never too soon to get a jump on the spooky season! We are counting down the days until the first night of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Oogie Boogie Bash! But, in the meantime this is how you can get in the Halloween Spirit during the Spring!
If you find yourself in Walt Disney World April 20-April 23, enjoy some of the sinister sweets available throughout the Resorts, parks, and even Disney Springs! In Magic Kingdom at Columbia Harbor House, guests can mobile order a "Happy Haunts Milkshake" that is topped with a donut before checking in with their ghost host for a ride on the Haunted Mansion. In Disney Springs Marketplace Snacks, features a "Jack Skellington Bubble Waffle Sundae" while B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. has the highly sought after "Donald Duck Candy Corn Sipper" available while supplies lasts. Gideons is a Halloween lovers dream year round, but starting April 20th guests can enjoy a "Pumpkin Cheesecake Snack Cake", but beware... there is a limit of two cakes per person and they will only have a limited quantity. If you need more of a reason to stock up at Gideons, they will have a trading card in the bottom of every medium and large cookie box, so we highly recommend stocking up!
Just a short Skyliner ride from Epcot or Hollywood Studios is "The Whoopie Monster", a spiced apple with a marshmallow buttercream that can be found at the food courts of Art of Animation and Pop Century Resort. Another way to celebrate Halfway to Halloween is to take a loop around on the Monorail to enjoy some extra spooky treats. Skip the line at Aloha Isle this week and head over to the Polynesian for your Dole Whip fix. The "Kakamora Dole Whip Waffle Bowl" is topped with Moana inspired white chocolate. The next stop is Gasparilla Grill at The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa - here you’ll find a "Jack O’ Lantern Mickey Cake Pop" with a yellow pumpkin spiced cake that is topped with orange colored white chocolate. If pumpkin isn’t exactly your thing, they also have a Bewitching Minnie Cupcake - and yes it’s every chocolate lover's dream! The final stop on the Monorail Loop is the Contemporary Resort - at the Contempo Café for a Madame Leota Chocolate Cake complete with marshmallow webs!
For our West Coast friends, there are plenty of scary snacks in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park! Marceline’s Confectionary, Candy Palace, Candy Kitchen, Pooh Corner, Trolley Treats and Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff on April 20- April 23, travelers can enjoy a "Minnie Witch Apple", "Oogie Boogie Crisped Rice Treats" and a "Jack Skellington Cake Pop". If you’re feeling festive and just so happen to find yourself in the Disneyland area and don’t have a park ticket - head on over to Downtown Disney District to enjoy some spooktacular treats. California Churro has a Halloween Churro topped with chocolate and peanut butter drizzle and peanut butter candy pieces. Kayla’s Cake will have a Halloween Jack-O-Lantern Macaron with a fruit flavored buttercream filling.
