EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Entertainment

Celebrate the holidays around the world without even having to leave EPCOT. EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays begins on November 24th and runs through December 30th. Not only is this a fun way to celebrate the holiday season, but it’s a great opportunity to broaden your horizons to how other families around the world celebrate this special season. There is a very special guest that also attends the festival until December 24th. Santa Claus is located in the Odyssey Pavilion with his sleigh, greeting guests and taking photos.

Entertainment

You better not pout, and you better not cry! A very special guest also attends the festival through December 24th. Santa Claus is located in the Odyssey Pavilion with his sleigh to greet guests and take photos. We highly recommend getting in line early in the day because this line can get LONG with families wanting to take family Christmas photos.

There is so much to do and see during EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays. In the World Showcase Plaza, guests can experience Kwanzaa and Christmas in JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season. This ensemble performs Gospel, R&B, and holiday songs daily at 1:15 PM, 2:20 PM, 3:25 PM, and 4:30 PM as long as the weather permits. As you venture through the World Showcase, guests can learn about St. Nick, Père Noël, and Father Christmas from Storytellers throughout the different countries. These Storytellers share stories with guests about how holiday traditions are different all over the world.

Different Celebrations guests can experience in each country:

  • Mexico Pavilion - Las Posadas Celebration

  • Norway Pavilion - A Mischievous Magical Barn Santa

  • China Pavilion - Chinese Lion Dancer

  • Italy Pavilion - La Befana

  • Japan Pavilion - Daruma Storyteller

  • Between Morocco and France - Hanukkah Storyteller

  • France Pavilion - Pere Noel

  • United Kingdom Pavilion - Father Christmas

  • Canada Pavilion - Canadian Holiday Voyageurs

  • The Odyssey Pavilion - Santa Greeting

Candlelight Processional

The story of Christmas is brought to life through a 50-piece orchestra, a choir, and rotating celebrity narrators at the America Gardens Theatre. Each night there are three different showings at 5:15 PM, 7 PM, and 8:30 PM. Guests can choose to make a reservation for the Candlelight Processional Dining Package to guarantee a seat at the Candlelight Processional. These celebrity narrators are absolutely amazing and include Simu Liu, John Stamos, Neil Patrick Harris, Jordan Fisher, and Eva Longoria, just to name a few! Each celebrity narrator gives this incredible show their own personal touch. Guests can choose from eight different dining options when reserving a Candlelight Processional Dining Package in the My Disney Experience app. Additional seating may be available after all the guests with dining packages have been seated for each show. If there is a narrator you would like to see on your trip, we highly recommend making a Candlelight Processional Dining Package Reservation.
