Did you know that staying at a Deluxe Resort gives you more than just large rooms, great pools and some of the most luxurious accommodations at Walt Disney World? By staying here, you are actually earning Special Evening Hours at parks like Magic Kingdom and EPCOT! Those evening hours are EXCLUSIVE for Deluxe Resort guests, which make for a drastically less busy park!
All guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort or other select hotels are invited to enjoy extended evening hours on select nights at select resorts. Once the park closes to all other guests, Deluxe Resort guests will be required to scan their park ticket or MagicBand(+) to gain entry to any rides that are open that night. But it doesn’t stop there, Deluxe Resort guests will have a chance to get their own special virtual queue for Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind starting at 6PM! This 6PM virtual queue does not require Deluxe Resort guests to be inside of EPCOT to take advantage of the 6PM virtual queue! All you would have to do is just to be on the My Disney Experience app at 6PM and prepare for the queue to open, but fair warning these slots go quick!
While some rides and attractions close when the park closes to all other guests there are still plenty of things to do! We do however highly recommend grabbing a snack before the park closes to everyone else though! There are limited food options available once the park is only open for Deluxe Resort guests.
Here is a list of the rides in EPCOT that are open for Extended Evening Hours for Deluxe Resort guests: Beauty and the Beast Sing Along in the France Pavilion Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in the France PavilionFrozen Ever After in the Norway Pavilion Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros in the Mexico PavilionGuardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind requires a 6PM virtual queue Mission: SPACE Soarin' Around the WorldSpaceship EarthTest Track The Seas with Nemo and Friends
What Resorts are included?
All Walt Disney World Deluxe Resorts and Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts along with Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, Walt Disney World Swan Reserve and Shades of Green.
Is it worth it to stay out late?
Absolutely! Most rides are almost a walk on. Rides like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure can hit a three hour wait during the day, during these Extended Hours - we have seen the ride anywhere from a walk on to a 30-40 minute wait which is a significantly shorter line! It also gives you an additional chance to ride Guardians of the Galaxy!
Do I need to have a park ticket?
Yes! All guests will need to have valid park admission, which means you will need an EPCOT park ticket if that's the only park you plan on visiting that day, or a Park Hopper if you plan on visiting a different park earlier in the day. If EPCOT is the only park you will be visiting you will need a park reservation.
When are EPCOT Extended Evening Hours?
The park will only allow Deluxe resort guests into attractions and on rides from 9PM to 11PM on:January 16, 23, 30February 6, 13, 20, 27March 6 & 13*more dates may be added*
