Disney's Riviera Resort

Disney’s Riviera Resort is the newest Walt Disney World Resort and is conveniently located on the Skyliner route giving guests a quick and convenient ride to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The attention to detail across the resort, from the lobby to the resort rooms to the art is unmatched and leaves guests feeling like they are on vacation at the French Riviera.

Resort Rooms

Whether it's a romantic getaway, family vacation or a large group, the Riviera is equipped to host parties of all sizes. All rooms have a modern layout that maximizes space with raised beds, allowing visitors to store suitcases without taking up valuable closet space. Also, pay close attention to the details in the Resort Rooms, you will find some of your favorite characters like Marie and Remy!

The Tower studio is a modern & quaint resort room that sleeps 2 guests - while it is a smaller room it offers versatility with a pull down bed and full seating area along with its own private balcony. For groups with up to 5 guests, studios and 1 Bedroom Villas are also available. A studio features a kitchenette with one queen sized bed with plenty of storage underneath, a couch that pulls down into a full queen sized bed and a single pulldown bed. One bedroom villas are ideal for guests who would like to have a full kitchen, washer dryer, a spacious bathroom, separate bedroom and a small dining area. In the living room, there is a queen sized pulldown bed and a single pull down bed.

Larger parties will love taking advantage of the spacious and luxurious 2 Bedroom Villas and 3 Bedroom Grand Villas. Similar to the 1 Bedroom Villa, the 2 and 3 Bedroom Villas have a full kitchen, dining area, washer dryer but they feature additional bedrooms and bathrooms. When selecting a room type, guests also have the choice of a Standard or Preferred room. Preferred rooms can be close to the lobby, close to dining or close to the Skyliner - you can select your preferences during Online Check-In on your My Disney Experience App. Regardless of the room that guests stay in, the Riviera makes the perfect home away from home.

Transportation

The Riviera is located on the Skyliner route, giving guests quick and convenient access to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. When traveling with small children or guests who may be in a wheelchair, the Skyliner makes transit a breeze. The Skyliner brings guests to the entrance of Hollywood Studios and to the World Showcase entrance at Epcot. Buses are also an option for guests to get to and from Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs. In the event of high winds or lightning the Skyliner may close and guests will be able to board buses to and from the parks.

Pools

The Riviera Pool is the main family friendly pool at the resort. For adventurous guests there is a column next to the pool that has a slide winding around it that launches you into the pool. There are plenty of umbrellas and lounge chairs throughout the pool area. This is the pool that hosts Cast Member lead activities such as races, trivia and dance parties as long as the weather permits. Right outside of the Riviera Pool there is the S’il Vous Play, a large water play area for children. The water play area has plenty of fountains, geysers and slides for kids to splash around in. For guests who prefer to relax in a quieter poolside setting head on over to the Beau Soleil Pool, which is the Riviera Resorts leisure pool.

Recreational Activities

Guests are invited to attend nightly outdoor activities -starting from 6pm to 7pm near the waterfront, guests can roast marshmallows and have the option to purchase s’mores kits. Nightly Movies Under The Stars are located on the movie lawn nightly at 8PM. During the day in the courtyard, guests can participate in lawn activities like bocce and cornhole. If playing video games, board games or doing some arts and crafts is something your group may be interested in - head on over to the Eventi Room, which is the Riviera's version of a Community Hall. In the event that it rains during your trip, the Eventi Room offers plenty for children and adults to do. For some added fun during your stay, stop by the DVC desk in the lobby, they have a fun scavenger hunt for guests to participate in at the resort! There are so many “Easter Eggs” throughout the resort that the Scavenger Hunt highlights.

Table Service Dining

The Riviera is home to Topolinos Terrace, one of the most sought after reservations on Walt Disney World property. Topolinos Terrace is located on the top floor of the resort and has one of the best views of Disney World. For breakfast, Minnie and her friends will join guests as they order off of the menu with choices such as a Woodfired Butcher Steak, Sour Cream Waffles and several other incredible options. For our youngest travelers, the Mickey Waffle Dippers are a delicious meal and entertainment all-in-one. While dinner isn’t a character meal it is a signature dining experience with a dress code. Guests can enjoy handcrafted pastas, Veal, Filet, and several seafood dishes. We highly recommend ordering some appetizers off of their antipasto menu, the Gnocchi and Fritto Misto are out of this world. One of our travel experts will be happy to try and reserve a reservation for you on your next trip.

Quick Service Dining

Primo Piatto is the main quick service restaurant at the Riviera, with a menu for both elaborate and picky eaters. Breakfast offers your favorite staples as well as a delicious bread pudding, Blueberry Lemon Pancakes, and Croque Madame topped with an egg made to order. Lunch and dinner offer pizzas, sandwiches, and salads. For children, there is an option for even the pickiest eater, whether that be pasta, pizza, chicken strips, burgers and even shrimp.

The Bar Riva is another great quick service option, it is located close to the pool and has an extensive drink menu, full bar and even has Soulfully options from Cooking with Soul. They also have a limited menu with chicken wings, baked brie, salads and sandwiches. For coffee lovers look no further than Le Petit Cafe. It doesn’t stop at coffee; they also have a large selection of pastries and charcuterie as well as a bar. Make sure to bring along young travelers to indulge in a delicacy Princess Milk!
