The Boardwalk Resort is the ideal vacation for a foodie to stay or even visit for the day! There are endless opportunities when it comes to restaurants and quick service locations. It doesn’t stop at just dining - guests will even find entertainers on the Boardwalk along with Carnival Style games. There is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy that makes their way over to the Boardwalk.
Table Service Restaurants
The Flying Fish is open Wednesday through Sunday and is every surf and turf lover's dream. This isn’t the restaurant to “skip dessert”, don't leave without trying the Creamy Goat Cheesecake, they even have phenomenal after dinner drinks and coffees like the Boardwalk Café and Peanutbutter Freeze. Keep in mind that they are only open for dinner and are closed every Monday and Tuesday.
Trattoria al Forno is an Italian inspired Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. This is truly one of the best kept hidden gems at Walt Disney World, their breakfast is a great change of pace and has a tiramisu style french toast that is unmatched and the breakfast pizza is always a crowd pleaser. This is even a meal that can be mobile ordered on the My Disney Experience app.
Big River Grille and Brewing Works is a family friendly microbrewery that is open for lunch and dinner. This is a table service restaurant, but reservations aren’t made through the My Disney Experience app, guests are encouraged to call (407) 751-1544 to reserve a table for their next visit but walk ups may be accommodated. The menu features a large variety of appetizers, sandwiches, salads and burgers along with an extensive selection of beers.
Quick Service
The Boardwalk Deli is the most popular quick service location at the Boardwalk Inn, and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and also allows guests to order ahead with the My Disney Experience app. The Boardwalk Deli is known for its overstuffed sandwiches, but they also have salads and pastries.
The Pizza Window is a great and affordable option for a family, they offer full sized pizzas that can be mobile ordered, in addition to pizza by the slice.
To Go Cart is the most under rated Quick Service location at the Boardwalk. This isn’t your ordinary hot dog and french fry location, the To Go Cart offers extravagant options like Buffalo Chicken fries that are loaded with buffalo chicken and topped with blue cheese slaw and Carne Asada Fries that are loaded with carne asada, queso fresca, crema, cilantro and onions. The Corn dogs are freshly dipped and there are plenty of crowd pleasers like chicken fingers and fries and pulled pork.
Boardwalk Ice Cream is open daily from 3PM to 11PM and is a fabulous place to satisfy a sweet tooth! Boardwalk Ice Cream is a more affordable option compared to Beaches and Cream and offers a large variety of Sundaes, Milkshakes, and even a Mickey Mouse Sundae for the kids!
Funnel Cake Cart of course no trip to the Boardwalk is complete without a funnel cake, so head on over to the Funnel Cake Cart where you can get a freshly made funnel cake topped with ice cream and even grab a Funnel Cake kit to bring back home!
Bars and Lounges
AbracadaBar is a social club and lounge that is full of illusions and magic. The customized cocktails are specifically designed to have a magical theme to them, we recommend trying Houdinit’s Punch or a Parlor Trick. Bar snacks are also served from 5PM to 9PM, but the fun doesn’t stop at 9PM, the AbracadaBar is open until midnight.
Belle Vue Lounge is a 1930’s inspired lounge with extremely comfortable seating with plenty of chairs and couches to relax, guests are encouraged to also take advantage of the seating out on the Verandah. In the morning coffees, mimosas and pastries are available and throughout the day a wide variety of specialty cocktails are available to order. The lounge's signature cocktail the Belle Vue Cosmopolitan is always a crowd favorite and packs a punch, Wine is also served and is available by the glass or by the bottle. For our whiskey and scotch fans the Belle Vue Lounge offers an extensive menu.
Boardwalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas is the perfect stop on your way to Epcot to enjoy a Margarita on your walk. They offer both frozen Margaritas and Margaritas on the rocks, dole whip smoothies along with pretzels and nachos. The Marvelous Watermelon Margarita is always a refreshing choice and the dole whip smoothie is always a kid and adult favorite. They are open daily from 12PM to 12AM.
Entertainment
Jellyrolls is a popular 21 and over piano bar with dueling pianos and sing alongs. Jellyrolls is known to fill up fast so if it is a must on your next Walt Disney World vacation we suggest arriving earlier in the night. They are open daily from 7PM to 1:45AM, but are closed on Saturdays. There is a nightly admission fee that is generally around $20 per person, but is subject to change depending on the night and every guest is required to have a valid form of ID.
Atlantic Dance Hall is a 21 and over nightclub located on Crescent Lake. Atlantic Dance Hall plays popular music from the 80’s, 90’s and today. They are open Thursday through Sunday from 8PM to 1AM, but hours are subject to change because it is a popular venue to rent out. This is the less popular of the two Nightlife destinations on Crescent Lake but nonetheless is a great place to enjoy some music, go dancing and have a few drinks.
Walking down the Boardwalk guests will find several Carnival style games that range in price depending on the activity. Kids are sure to be captivated by the giant exciting prices that they can win from these games. Beware Mom and Dad some of these games do require some dedication to win these sought after prizes! Nightly entertainers are out and about on the boardwalk putting on shows and doing magic tricks to entertain travelers while they are enjoying their evening on the boardwalk. Grab a drink or ice cream and just take a stroll, you never know who you will encounter on the boardwalk!
