Resort Rooms
Art of Animation is known for its immersive family suites, which sleep up to 6 guests, offering comfortable space for the entire family to relax and lounge when they are not at the parks. The rooms are themed after some of Disney’s Classic movies, including The Lion King, Cars, Finding Nemo, and The Little Mermaid. The latter is the only room type offering standard rooms, while the other three are Family Suites only. Every room is spaciousness enough so that the entire family can relax after a long day at the parks.
All family suites include one queen-sized bed, one double-sized Table Murphy Bed and one double-sized sleeper sofa bed. These rooms also include two bathrooms and a kitchenette. Standard rooms in The Little Mermaid section offer either 2 queen-sized beds or 1 king-sized bed. All rooms include standard amenities, such as a television, table and chairs, coffee bar with coffee maker, safe, iron and ironing board, mini fridge, and more. Available room views include the courtyard, the pool, or the parking area.
Dining: Quick Service
With 5 quick-service counters in this cafeteria style quick service restaurant, Landscape of Flavors offers casual dining from breakfast through dinner. Guests will find a wide variation of foods, from mickey waffles to entire pizzas and entrees such as Shrimp and Grits, Salmon, Burgers, and Salads. This quick service location also offers plenty of plant-based and allergy-friendly options for guests who need dietary accommodations. With the variety of food options available, even picky eaters will be sure to find a meal to enjoy.
Pools
Ocean lovers will find themselves in awe by the grandness of the Big Blue Pool. With a zero-gravity entry and 308,527 gallons of water, this is the largest pool in all 32 Disney World Resorts. Smaller guppies can even enjoy the poolside fun at the Schoolyard Playground, with splashing jets surrounded by Nemo’s friends. For guests looking for some down time, there are also two leisure pools, the Flippin’ Fins Pool and the Cozy Cone Pool, located in The Little Mermaid section and the Cars inspired rooms, respectively.
Pool Bar
The Drop Off is the pool bar located near the iconic Big Blue Pool inspired by Finding Nemo. This bar is the perfect place to grab a quick bite or a refreshing a drink while lounging at the pool. The full bar menu includes cocktails, drinks on the rocks, and frozen concoctions. Grab yourself the Disney World famous Pina Colava and enjoy some rays in the beautiful Florida sunshine.
Recreation
Guests of all ages will find an abundance of recreational activities at Disney’s Art of Animation and the other resorts located just a short Skyliner ride away. The recreation team has fun activities scheduled throughout the day, such as a tie-dye event, dance parties, and scavenger hunts. In the evening, you will find plenty of activities to partake in, such as Campfires by Pride Rock, Movies Under the Stars, and Nighttime Trivia. Older guests may find interest in participating in a Skyliner Crawl, hopping from resort to resort, while enjoying all the delicious food and drinks the individual resorts have to offer.
