Wouldn't it be convenient to have your travel expert book all of your advanced dining reservations for you and not have to worry about actually paying for them on your vacation? The Disney Dining Plan is the perfect way to prepay for your table service and quick-service meals while on your vacation! The Disney Dining Plan can be added to your resort and ticket package, allowing guests to slowly chip away at the cost of their meals before their vacation even begins. The best part is you may even save some extra money by adding the Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package! Guests 10 and older will pay roughly $95 per person, and guests 3 to 9 will pay roughly $30 per person, while children under 3 are free. The Disney Dining Plan includes one table service meal, one quick-service meal, and one snack per person per night of their stay, along with one resort refillable mug per guest.
Walt Disney World Table Service Meals can cost anywhere from around $20 per person for an entree up to $100 per person, and this is a great way to not stress about how much a meal costs while you're on vacation! You can order the Filet or seafood dinner without the sticker shock, well, because it's paid for already! Another added bonus is you can use a Table Service Meal credit at character dining locations, which not only saves you money because we all know those can be PRICEY, but it saves you time by not having to wait in line to meet characters! Children under the age of 3 are free to share off their parents' plates at à la carte restaurants. Buffets and Family Style meals are also included in the Disney Dining Plan and are a great option for families who like a large variety of food and larger portions; they are all you care to enjoy. Families traveling with kids under 3 can serve their children from the buffet or the platters brought to the table for FREE! Each table service meal comes with a beverage that can be substituted for a single serving alcoholic beverage for no additional charge.
The Quick Service Meal credits can be used just like they are on the Quick Service Dining Plan (hyperlink quick service dining plan blog), where guests can choose an entree and a beverage with their meal. The beverage can be substituted for a single-serving alcoholic beverage for guests over 21 years of age at no additional charge.
Guests can also choose to use two Table Service Dining Credits to enjoy a signature, fine dining location or a Storybook Dining experience. While this may sound like a great opportunity to experience one of Disney's incredible signature dining locations, we highly recommend checking out what the meal would have cost as an out-of-pocket cost; sometimes, it's a better value to just pay cash for a meal like Cinderella's Royal Table, which is $75 per adult, as opposed to using two meal credits.
