Ahoy, Mateys! Onboard all of Disney Cruise Line’s ships is Disney’s Oceaneer Club, where children can slide into adventure and explore multi-themed magical lands.
The Oceaneer Club is for children ages 3 to 10. Children must be potty trained to enter the Oceaneer Club; 3 and 4-year-olds can enjoy specially guided activities in the Oceaneer Lab. When guests complete online check-in for their cruise roughly 30 days before sailing, they will pre-register their children for Disney’s Oceaneer Lab and Club. In the event that you don’t complete registration during online check-in, it can be done while onboard the ship. On Embarkation Day, children and parents must check in at the front desk of the Oceaneer Club. This gives parents a chance to fill out any final paperwork, and children will receive their digital wristband that gives them access to the club during the sailing. Parents, this is your only time to actually enter and tour the facility and meet the counselors; once the ship sets sail, it will be children only.
The Oceaneers Club and Lab are a great place for learning while having fun! Young sailors learn through character performances, storytelling, dressing up, and interactive activities. There are constant Disney movies playing, both independent and guided arts and crafts activities, and plenty of toys. On most ships, the central gathering point for the Oceaneer Club is the main library or the main hub that serves as a portal to the four lands that the Oceaneer Club is broken up into.
Each different ship has different lands to occupy young sailors. Reach for the sky and hang out with Rex, Ham, and their friends in Andy’s Room onboard the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Magic, and Disney Wonder. Join Tinker Bell and her fairy friends onboard the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Magic. Enter a Galaxy far, far away onboard the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and the Disney Wish in their immersive Star Wars areas that are all themed differently. Marvel fans will love the Disney Fantasy, Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, and the Disney Wish where guests can attend the Marvel Super Heroes Academy. Onboard the Disney Fantasy, young travelers can become an Avenger with Doctor Strange, but onboard the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic can learn about the weaponry of the Avengers like Thor’s hammer and Captain America’s shield, and while onboard the Wish, new “recruits” will train to be the next generation of superheroes. Our youngest sailors will love hanging out with the Lion Guard and Mickey and the Roadster Racers onboard the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder.
The Disney Wish really brings storytelling to a new level. Fairytale Hall brings our favorite princesses and queens into their activity rooms. Rapunzel has her art studio, while Belle’s Library is a comfy corner for reading and Anna and Elsa have their own area for some Frozen Fun. Future imagineers can put their creative minds to work in the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab. This is where kids can design their very own roller coaster and then enter a capsule where they will ride their creation through a virtual experience.
Character InteractionsCharacters will visit the Oceaneers Club on each ship daily. Young travelers will love Puzzle Playtime with Mickey and Friends, hanging out with the Lion Guard, and building their own Roadster Racer with Mickey! Marvel Characters will stop by to teach their young apprentices the basics of becoming a superhero. The Disney Dream teaches the way of the force during Jedi Training. While character interactions are subject to change or cancellation without notice, check your Navigator app while onboard for the most up-to-date information for daily activities.
