Character Dining Updates: May 2023


Have you been wondering around the parks all day and are looking forward to sitting down in the AC while enjoying the fun meet and greets at your upcoming Character Dining reservations? Well, reserving character dining during your park days are a great way to cut down on some long character meet and greet lines! Plus, all four parks offer at least one Character Dining restaurant. Let's break down the must do character dining locations across the WDW theme parks:


Magic Kingdom 

Crystal Palace is an all you care to enjoy buffet that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast offerings include pancakes, waffles, eggs and other staples while lunch and dinner have seasonal pastas, carved prime rib and almost any side dish that can be imagined. Guests will be greeted by Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore and Rabbit all while enjoying their meal at their table. Breakfast pricing is $45 per adult and $29 per child while lunch and dinner are $59 per adult and $38 per child. 


Cinderella’s Royal Table is located inside of Cinderella’s Castle, upon entry guests are greeted by none other than Cinderella herself. Breakfast starts with an assortment of fresh pastries where guests have their choice of an entree, Lunch and Dinner are a price fix meal with a choice of an appetizer, entree and a dessert. When booking a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table guests are required to pay for their meal in advance, breakfast is priced at $45 per adult and $29 per child, while lunch and dinner are priced at $67 per adult and $39 per child. 

Be Our Guest is located inside Beast's Castle in Fantasyland. Guests will order off of a price fix lunch and dinner menu where they will select an appetizer, entree and a dessert. We recommend trying the French Onion Soup. Beast makes his appearance for a photo op and occasionally makes his way around the dining room. Both lunch and dinner are priced at $67 per adult and $39 per child. 


Hollywood Studios 

Hollywood and Vine is all you care to enjoy buffet located in front of Echo Lake. Hollywood and Vine offers two completely different character line ups for Breakfast then they do for lunch and dinner. For breakfast guests are joined by Vamparina, Fancy Nancy, Doc McStuffins and Roadster Racer Goofy. Make sure you try the Bananas Foster French Toast and seasonal bread pudding at breakfast. Lunch and Dinner are called “Seasonal Dine” where guests are joined by seasonally dressed characters such as Minnie, Mickey, Goofy and Donald. Depending on the time of year they may be dressed for Christmas or even Halloween. The lunch and dinner buffet have all sorts of salads, chicken, seafood items and a new edition crispy pork belly. Breakfast is priced at $42 per adult and $27 per child, while lunch and dinner are $59 per adult and $38 per child. 


EPCOT

UPDATE: Garden Grill is located inside of The Land Pavilion, not only can you view the ride Living with the Land while enjoying your family style meal, guests are joined by Chip, Dale, Farmer Mickey and Pluto. Now open for Breakfast in addition to lunch and dinner. For $42 per adult and $27 per child indulge in Cinnamon Breakfast Loaf, Grilled Flank Steak with Ranchero Sauce and lots of traditional breakfast staples all served family style. For lunch and dinner guests will enjoy comfort food that is made with some ingredients grown right inside The Land Pavilion. Entrees include barbecue roasted chicken and grilled beef. The real star of the show is the dessert, a Berry ShortCake. Lunch and Dinner are priced at $55 per adult and $36 per child.  

UPDATE: Akershus Royal Banquet Princess Storybook RestaurantAkershus is located in the Norway Pavilion of the World Showcase section of EPCOT with Guests being greeted by Belle in her ball gown which is a rare sighting! FYI: Belle at her park meet and greets usually wears her blue dress! Other visiting Princesses are Aurora, Jasmine, Snow White and Ariel, they come right to your table while you enjoy your meal. Now serving breakfast for $53 per adult and $34 per child guests can enjoy a breakfast fit for royalty. Breakfast is served family style and includes pastries, Norwegian waffles, and lots of traditional breakfast stapes.When it comes to lunch and dinner the first course is a salad and lefse (similar to a crepe) that are brought to the table. Guests will be served a family style, all you care to enjoy dinner of traditional Norwegian meatballs, Kylling og Melboller (which is a Norwegian version of Chicken and Dumplings) and Grilled Salmon along with sides like mac & cheese and mashed potatoes & gravy. The third and final course is a dessert serving that consists of rice pudding and a chocolate mousse. While this meal is one of the higher price points for a character meal ($63 per adult and $41 per child) it’s a great opportunity to save time waiting in line and meet the Princesses.


Animal Kingdom

Tusker House is a family style Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner that will be returning to a buffet on November 1, 2022. Guests are joined by Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy who come right to their table. A traditional breakfast is served from 8AM until 10:30AM in the morning, at 11AM the restaurant shifts over to their lunch and dinner selections that include delectable African inspired dishes. Breakfast is priced at $45 per adult and $29 per child, while lunch and dinner are priced at $59 per adult and $38 per child.
