Activities
There is no shortage of activities at Castaway Cay; this is Disney, after all! Everything is designed with families in mind. Kids of all ages can enjoy different activities, whether that be playing in the sand and building a sandcastle, snorkeling, biking, or something a little more strenuous like kayaking or even sailing on a Hobie Cat. The whole family can even set sail on a Glass Bottom Boat scenic voyage on a one-hour guided sea tour! If you’re traveling with someone who seeks thrilling adventures, daring travelers can soar above Castaway Cay on a one-hour Parasailing adventure! Guests who want to stretch their legs after being onboard can take advantage of the Castaway Cay Challenge, which is an island-hosted 5K!
Castaway
Family Beach Make a splash and enjoy the crystal-clear water, the white sandy beach, and some family fun! The family beach is a lively destination for families enjoying the day on Castaway Cay. There’s live entertainment, sports, supervised games, and much more for the whole family to enjoy. This is also the beach where water guests can paddleboard and kayak!
Serenity Bay
Spending the day relaxing in the sand, taking a quick dip in the beautiful crystal-clear waters sounds like the perfect quiet and relaxing day at Castaway Cay. Serenity Bay is an exclusive area for guests who are 18 and older. This beach is significantly less crowded than the family beach and is also the beach furthest from the ship, but don’t worry; you won't have to walk far as a tram will bring you there. Lounge chairs and beach chairs are available along the beach, and there are also six cabanas in Serenity Bay; however, those generally book up with guests sailing Concierge. If you’re looking for a cabana at Serenity Bay, you will want cabana 22 through 27. Another activity that can be booked for Castaway Cay is massages; we highly recommend an open-air cabana massage.
Dining
Lunch, soft drinks, and water are complimentary on Castaway for all guests onboard Disney Cruise ships! That means you don’t have to worry about heading back to the ship to grab a snack or meal. A beach barbecue buffet is served full of ribs, chicken, burgers, hotdogs, side dishes, and of course, cookies and ice cream. Cookie’s BBQ and Cookie’s Too serve lunch from 11:30 AM to 2 PM. Adult beverages and specialty drinks can be purchased at Castaway Air Bar, Sand Bar, Heads Up Bar, and Conched Out Bar.
