Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival is the perfect way to sample the California food and wine scene from the comfort of the Disneyland Resort. The festival offers beverages that come from local California vineyards and breweries while the food focuses on fresh local ingredients.
Festival Marketplaces
Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival has something for everyone, from irresistible small plates to specialty brews, flights and cocktails to desserts. We promise that you won’t leave hungry! All of the 10 different festival marketplaces are inspired by fresh California grown ingredients. There is so much to choose from, but it doesn’t stop there. Several other locations throughout the park are also participating in the Food and Wine Festival and are featuring their own special dishes.
Culinary Demonstrations
Check out the intriguing and captivating cooking demonstrations at Disney California Adventure’s Food and Wine Festival. Local and visiting chefs show off tasty tips and tricks daily at the Hollywood Backlot Stage in Hollywood Land on Saturdays and Sundays. At 3:30 guests are invited to check out mini cooking and farm to table presentations by festival sponsors. At 5PM check out the Disney’s very own chefs as they zone in on some Disneyland Resort favorite dishes and treats. At 6PM visiting chefs ill take the stage at the Culinary Demonstrations with Visiting Chefs. This is the perfect way to learn some new cooking techniques along with some incredible recipes.
Sip and Savor
A Sip and Savor Pass is a great way to conveniently experience all of the culinary masterpieces available throughout the festival. A Sip and Savor Pass retails for $31 if you would like four digital coupon pass and $61 for 8 digital coupon pass. Magic Key Holders do receive a discount on the 8 coupon pass, which comes to $56 Each Sip & Savor Pass card will have 4 or 8 redemptions on it depending on which pass that you purchase. The redemptions can be redeemed for different dishes and nonalcoholic beverages throughout the Festival.This year the pass is digital, so you will be required to scan their pass and give the cast member assisting them the 4 digit code on the back. We highly recommend using the redemptions on the more expensive festival offerings to get the most bang for your buck! If you’re wondering if 8 digital coupons is just too much food for you, have no fear! These tabs can be used for multiple people, or you can choose to come back another day before the festival ends on April 22 and use them then!
Family Friendly Activities
Young aspiring chefs will absolutely love Cookin’ with the Jammin’ Chefs. This fifteen minute show takes place in Paradise Gardens Park and features Chip n Dale, Clarabelle Cow and Daisy Duck as they demonstrate some cooking rhythms with pots and pans. This show is daily at 10:45, 11:45, 12:45, 2:45, 3:45 and 4:45. Other characters also make an appearance in their cooking attire such as Chef Goofy who is located near the Hollywood Backlot. Junior Chefs can also enjoy their very own hands-on cooking experience! Children ages 3 to 11 are invited to decorate their very own cupcake with special visits from the SuperKitties. This fun festival experience takes place Monday through Friday at 1:30PM, 2:30PM, 4PM and 5PM and on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30PM and 2:30PM. Space is limited for this experience and guests can sign up 45 minutes prior to the “showtime”.
